The government has announced the proposed annual increases in statutory payments such as statutory maternity and other family leave pay rates, statutory sick pay, and national minimum wages that will come into force in April 2025.
From 6 April 2025, statutory sick pay will rise from GBP 116.75 to GBP 118.75 per week.
From 7 April 2025, statutory maternity pay, paternity pay, adoption pay, shared parental pay, and parental bereavement pay will rise from GBP 184.03 to GBP 187.70 per week.
From 11 April 2025, maternity allowance will rise from GBP 172.48 to GBP 184.03 per week.
From 1 April 2025, the following national minimum wages will apply:
