Italy: The pharmaceutical sector has exceeded 50 billion in value in 2023

The Chairman of Farmindustria, commenting on the data provided by the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat), announced that the Italian pharmaceutical sector has exceeded 50 billion euros in production during 2023. Despite a general decrease of 2.5% in Italy's industrial production, the pharmaceutical sector grew by 7.3%, in countertrend to other sectors.
