United Kingdom: Pension Schemes Act 2021 becomes law

In brief

The Pension Schemes Bill has received royal assent and passed into law as The Pension Schemes Act 2021. The new legislation will make a number of important changes across a number of different areas, including Regulator powers, DB funding, transfers, climate change governance and disclosure requirements as well as pensions dashboards.  For a summary covering all the key changes please see our recent alert.
