Belgium: Ahead of Tax - VAT updates in Belgium in 2023 and beyond (Webinar)

30' Insight

In brief

During this webinar, we provided a recap of the so-called EU ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age) proposal and of some of the implications that this will bring for you in practice.

We also touched upon recent changes in the Belgian VAT law that entered into force in 2023 (the extension of the assessment periods, the new rules for the VAT deduction under the real use method) and those that will enter into force in 2024 (the main purpose of which is the optimization and digitalization of the processing of periodic VAT returns).
